Are you a qualified nurse looking to take the next step as a leader? We are currently seeking a team leader for our Hematology Department in Kristianstad!
The Hematology section consists of outpatient care and reception, the Hematology Department (Hematologen), and the Piccline reception, and has a close collaboration. The Hematology Department consists of twelve care places where patients with both malignant and non-malignant hematological conditions are diagnosed and treated. We also receive patients with general medical conditions. Hematologen is a department with high competence, a good atmosphere, and engaged colleagues. We respect each other, and everyone's competence is equally important. The team around the patients consists of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, social workers, and dietitians. We work person-centered and the patient will meet the competencies needed for care and treatment to be as good as possible. Centralsjukhuset Kristianstad (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northeastern Skåne. Here, qualified emergency care is provided around the clock by competent and dedicated staff. CSK has the resources of a large hospital and the proximity and community of a smaller hospital. The hospital offers residents in the catchment area care with short waiting times across all specialties. We have about 2,600 employees at the hospital.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We now welcome a nurse who sees the opportunity and challenge of working as a team leader with a foundation in clinical practice. An exciting opportunity for you to develop both as a leader and within your profession!
The role is a combined position where half of the working time is allocated as a team leader while the remaining part consists of clinical duties. As a team leader, you are the department's contact person, supporting and simplifying the daily work in your team by identifying and meeting the team's various needs. In this way, you create the right conditions for each employee to be active throughout the patient process. You also follow up on results and provide feedback to employees and the responsible manager.
As a team leader, you have a central role in dialogue with doctors for planning and ensuring the right competencies in our chemotherapy and antibody treatments. Furthermore, you also assist with scheduling, planning of leave, and short-term absence.
Together with the unit manager, you participate in and contribute to our operations' improvement and development work. The unit's operations run around the clock with shifts during the day, evening, and night.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have several years of clinical experience and language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. Experience in leadership, personnel planning, and operational development is an advantage.
To succeed in the role, we believe you have a pronounced interest in leadership and a strong desire to develop both yourself and your team. You have self-awareness and self-distance, as well as a positive and solution-oriented attitude. We find it valuable that you have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. It is also important that you feel comfortable thinking about scheduling, logistics, and flow. Of course, you work according to Region Skåne's values. Personal suitability is highly valued.
